Olga Trusova and Dan Archer are just about to publish Borderland, a book of comic-illustrated stories of people who have been trafficked. She is a Stanford graduate, a Fulbright fellow, who’s researched trafficking in Eastern Europe, Turkey, and beyond. He is a San Francisco based artist, whose work is at Archcomix.com, and he’s brought the stories she’s collected to life.
This Thursday evening at Stanford’s design school, they’ll present the comic book & talk about the research and art that went into it. Some previews, and avenues to support it, are here at Kickstart.
