Hunting in the USSR and other travel instructions

I visited the Boston Public Library and found all these travelogue posters there.  The most strange: Ireland’s poster.  Could they find no actual image of the country to recommend it?  Instead, just an arrow and a map.   1930s  Ireland, come on!
